About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Manager with strong experience in supply chain and demand planning within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or FMCG sector.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring products move efficiently from suppliers to customers — balancing forecasts, inventory, and operational execution. The ideal candidate has a sharp analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting retail and e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales insights.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotions and product launches into forecasts.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory across warehouses, suppliers, and retail partners to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers, co-packers, and logistics teams to manage lead times, replenishment, and delivery schedules.
Analytics & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs (forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory turnover, etc.).
- Identify risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to developing scalable systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and demand planning operations.
Communication & Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare clear written reports and communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in operations, supply chain, or demand planning within a CPG/FMCG business.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel (and ideally ERP or demand planning software).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of retail operations, promotional planning, and supply chain constraints.
- Degree not required; relevant experience in supply chain or operations preferred.
